A weekly wrap of the things you should know in basketball.

* Some dopey TMZ reporter corners a drunk Kenneth Faried leaving a club. You’ve got to watch this.

* Larry Jordan, the older brother of Michael Jordan, was promoted to team director of player personnel for the Charlotte Bobcats. Oh yeah, and MJ’s kids also work for the Bobcats. Na, that doesn’t stink at all…….

* Here’s a good example of how wacko the NBA can be. Keith Bogans, he of the limited skill-set and bare minimum worth (and quite frankly, lucky to be in the league), was given a guaranteed $5 million salary by the Brooklyn Nets for the 2013/14 season (then traded to Boston), purely because they needed an extra body at that price to facilitate the KG/Pierce mega trade. Man you gotta love the NBA!

* A little kid sends a message to Shaq – “don’t ever disrespect Houston again”.

* The New York Knicks making more bizarre decisions.

* The Suns’ Marcus Morris with a walk-off game-winner at Summer League in Vegas.

* The Toronto Raptors have a gem in Jonas Valanciunas.

* Andrew Wiggins speaks, would like to play for the Toronto Raptors.

* Dwight Howard recalls his “saddest moment” with the Lakers – some fan throwing a jersey at him.
