A weekly wrap of the things you should know in basketball.

* No, you aren’t imagining things – that is Blake Griffin wearing a St George-Illawarra Dragons jersey.

* Ben Simmons makes an impact for Montverde at the National High School Invitational.

* Kobe Bryant denies Will Barton at the rim. This guy!

* Brandon Bass crushes Brook Lopez.

* Metta World Peace sprouting nonsense (‘I’m too sexy for my cat’ – repeatedly) after their win against New Orleans.

* According to TrueHoop, the Oklahoma City Thunder are playing a dangerous game with Kevin Durant’s minutes. Why more teams aren’t strategically resting their key players (especially those with an injury history) in the last few weeks of the season, like the Miami Heat, is beyond me. Health is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING at this time of the year; if a key guy gets banged up now, well, in most cases their playoff chances are shot. Seeding should now take a back seat to health (except for the obvious cases) – the Thunder should be periodically resting Durant and Westbrook, the Clippers’ Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, the Grizzlies’ Marc Gasol and Mike Conley, the Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler, the Warriors Steph Curry (it’s too late for Bogut) etc. In the postseason a good basketball team will win on the road, but that team won’t go anywhere without their best players performing at their peak.

* The college slam dunk comp shits all over the NBAs.

* Ronny Turiaf’s hair.

* The Warriors have been using the ‘two man screen’ to perfection.

* LeBron James throws down another amazing dunk.

* Charles Barkley wearing a very tight shirt.

* A highlights package of Matthew Dellavedova.

* Andre Iguodala with a game winner against Dallas.

* A 12-year-old drains a halfcourt buzzer-beater at a Toronto Raptors game.

* Steve Kerr and Bill Simmons chew the fat. Fascinating, as always.
