Throughout this long and tedious NBA offseason we’re going to delve into the archives and take a look at some of the more memorable moments from previous years. We’ll have game winning shots, dustups and brain snaps, monster jams and much more.
Up now, Dennis Rodman headbutts referee Ted Bernhardt during a game in New Jersey in 1996. He was subsequently suspended for six games and fined $20,000 (that’s pretty light).
(Note: With the season drawing near, that concludes the “Down Memory Lane” series – but I’ll probably pick it back up next offseason.)

Good ole days… sigh. I miss the 90’s bball. Everyone raves about Lebron but personally i find him a bit boring to watch. When you think of Bron you don’t think of highlights. It’s not like he has a signature move like MJ’s fade!
Rodman is v underrated. He was probably one of the best rebounders I have ever seen and brought a certain passion to the Bulls that along with MJ translated as wins.
I also miss the 90’s basketball. It’s 20 years already. Rodman was a beast, a colorful personality.
