In what seems to be a recurring theme, Rondo has once again come up big for the Celtics when they needed it most – recording a near triple double in Boston’s Game 7 win over Philadelphia (18 points, 10 assists, 9 rebounds).
3 votes – Rajon Rondo. He bounced back after a tough night at the office in game six, and when the Celtics were without their go-to scorer late in the 4th, Rondo stepped up to the plate and delivered in a big way.
2 votes – Kevin Garnett. KG continued to turn back the clock in Game 7, recording a respectable 18 points and 13 rebounds. His ability to turn over the left shoulder is unrivalled in the league and he’ll be key for the Celtics in their matchup against an undersized Miami Heat.
1 vote – Andre Iguodala. Iggy deserves an honorable mention for his play throughout the Sixers post-season run, he was solid throughout and gave his opponents a tough time whenever he was on the court. He truly is an All-NBA defender and he showed it countless times throughout the series.
