Watching that Jennings game was like watching a flashback of AI’s rookie season. Except, he has a smoother jumper and only shoots from spots on the floor he’s comfortable with shooting from.

34 shots but most of them were just excellent shots within the flow of the offence. Was an incredible performance.

Dahntay is fool’s gold though imo. Was a black hole on offence in Denver and had to resort to pure thuggery to d top players up. See Afflalo’s brilliant work on Kobe last time out? Plus he’s a capable shooter. Nuggz got a huge freebie getting him to replace Jones.

Now if only Ty can take most of Carter’s minutes and we’ve upgraded two of their big weak spots from last season.

Wade’s dunk was one of the best I’ve seen for a while… Great in HD. The only person closer was Andy himself.

I can understand why people get annoyed with the LBJ 23 business.. but my argument would be that while MJ is not Jackie Robinson, neither was Wayne Gretsky in Ice Hockey. It’s about paying tribute to a player who quite literally changed the game. From TV to tickets to sponsors to new stadiums… One can argue that Mike’s emergence made a lot of that happen.

Also, one could argue that the move was made now rather than before LBJ played and NBA game because James’ has now developed a following/brand of the 23 himself.. and has more “hand” when it comes to asking every player to ditch it. Imagine if he came in as a fresh-faced rookie, told everyone he’d prefer 23, then wore 6 and told everyone else not to wear 23??

We’d call him an arrogant f**k. Maybe more so than people do already.

So maybe he can’t win if people already want to bash him… kinda like Kobe.
