Rob, I feel you. Totally have the same problem with trying to somehow condense work, reading up on basketball news and blogging (and oh yeah, the other facets of life) into my day. It's a tough gig, but someone' gotta do it, right!?

Ryan totally beat me to it with two recent reads which I would recommend, in "7 Seconds or Less" and "Can I Keep My Jersey?" Great reads. If you haven't, a great old read is Outrageous by Charles Barkley.

One other I read quite recently is "When March Went Mad" (Seth Davis) which examines the Bird v Magic 1979 NCAA Final. Good behind-the-scenes research on the two stars growing up.

Great idea for a post.

Three basketball books I loved and would like to add to the list are:

Loose Balls - by Terry Pluto (About the ABA and the early days of the NBA. Lot's of parallel's to the NBL in Aus! - also helps show how close to the mark the film 'Semi Pro' was!)

Seven Seconds Or Less - by Jack McCallum (A great inside look at the Phoenix Suns throughout their mid naughties runs. Must for Suns fans!)

Can I keep my Jersey? - by Paul Shirley (a nice easy entertaining read, if you are a fan of his blog on ESPN.)
