i would guess robin lopez will start the 5 next year. dragic will be able to feed him all day while matt barnes becomes the man of the team.

Yeah, but rebuilding involves making basketball deals to clear out the fat, and bring in the young guys.
Yes, clearing out Shaq is a good move, but couldn’t we get more than the Cav’s 2nd round pick? (which is #60 or something!!!)
I mean, get someone who can actually play basketball!
Now the Suns are in the fantastic position of playing Amare at the 5, and we all know how well that turned out for us last time…
At the rate they’re going, that first rounder (which is unprotected) is likely to be the #1 overall pick.

Looks like they’re finally rebuilding but the have a problem in that the Thunder own their first rounder next year and by all reports that draft is stacked.

Ah well, if we thought the Kobe v Lebron hype was overkill this year, just wait till the Shaq v Kobe kicks in for next year.

For the first time in ages I wouldn’t mind seeing the Spurs in the Finals, hopefully the Celtics too.

Yet another stupid move by the stupid GM at Phoenix.
So, instead of paying shaq $20m for 1 more year, we pay Ben Wallace $14m for 1 more year.
Except, Shaq can still technically play basketball. Ben Wallace is washed up.
The suns didn’t save that much money, and got a very bad basketball deal.
Poor form Suns, poor form.

jamal crawford for law/claxton. another victim of a shameless salary dump but this doesnt seem right unless the warriors can get something out of acie law.

plus my brain has broken trying to figure out the lineup the hawks will run with and which one of marvin/bibby will be gone … having no PG just feels like a natural process for the mighty ATL.

i would much rather see us get Gortat over Sheed. he’s more physical and a better rebounder. but either of them would be a great pick up.

I would like to see us offer the MLE in the direction of either Sheed or Gortat. I think either way would be good. Now that we have a fair amount of scoring we can offer contracts to big men that can be used purely as defense. try and replace some of what we lost with kurt thomas.
