you're dead right Gio. Lebron is nothing like Magic. No one is or ever will be. Only referring to "Kobe v Lebron" as "Michael vs Magic" in the sense that it's the game's two biggest stars. Not that they resemble those players. Fans don't compare Jordan to Magic, in the same way we shouldn't compare Lebron to Kobe. they're just completely different.

I agree that Lebron is NOT a better passer than Kobe. He's just more unselfish, and simply isn't as good a scorer so he passes more.

If I possessed every offensive move there was and could score from anywhere at any time, I probably wouldn't pass much either.

you guys need to youtube maic or something. Lebron is no Magic. no knock on him, but he doesnt paly anything like him. hes obviously a much better scoring threat, but he couldnt pass like Magic on magic's worse day. thats the myth about lebron is that he is a "great" passer. just because hes willing to pass doesnt make him a great passer. hes a penetrate and kicker that always has the ball in his hands. most his passes arent eyeball popping, but basic plays to open players on the perimeter. kobe is a better passer in tight spaces and much flashier(not that adds substance) and more prone to throw a pass you need to press replay on. with that said lebron has great court vision and makes the smart play 9 out of 10 times but lets just say weve seen nothing like lebron so there is no one to comare him to. he damn sure doesnt remind me of jordan either!!

yeah, i just read that and shook my head. hollinger has been overrating Lebron's defense all season, and now he's obsessed with his jump shot. oh well.

and Kobe went for another TD yesterday. looks like his streak of 10+ assist games will end at 4.

You'll be happy to know that Hollinger just praised Lebron again, after the Cavs won against Portland.

I've never seen a man praise a player's jump shot this much.

i think kobe has recently realised he needs to get his teammates more involved. bizarre to see him racking up 6-7 assists by half time. but thanks for the stats rob, didn't know Kobe had done that before in his career.

PS - i hope John Hollinger reads this :)

it is also a big psychological boost for the Lakers, similar to the win over Boston. it will give Lebron something a little extra to think about if they meet in the post-season.

can you imagine a Kobe vs Lebron finals? i know you say it ain't worth comparing them rob, but damn, that would pretty much be Magic vs MJ in '91 all over again.

was a great game by Kobe, and his team mates really stood up for him. the Cavs had no answer for Gasol.

watching Kobe and Lebron guard each other was truly awesome. i don't think there's another matchup quite like it in today's league.

and lol @ Hollinger wetting his pants. dude has always been a Kobe hater.
